Yep, I was riding him with a rope halter on under the bridle and needed a bathroom break. I tied him up with the rope halter and when I came back I found him like this. He had rubbed the bridle off and was looking all innocent at me. Reply Michael Godwin on January 16, 2014 at 10:19 pm I think Jac is suggesting she lose the bit Reply KandyLynne Abbiss on January 16, 2014 at 10:28 pm it looks to me like she tied him to go to bathroom and he rubbed his bridle right off lol Reply kewlpsplover on January 16, 2014 at 10:57 pm OMgosh…. Reply Lisa Tarbet on January 17, 2014 at 3:15 am LOL I guess he has given you your much needed sign !!! He wants to be like his mom. Patience Jack mommy was way ahead of you before she gave up the bit!!! Reply Jodi on January 17, 2014 at 12:33 pm Out of curiosity, has Jac watched you work bridle-less with other horses? If so, maybe he *is* trying to tell you something. I’m hardly an expert, but in my experience, if an animal realizes you are trying to understand their communication, they’ll try various methods to communicate what they want. Yankee used to try to get his point across all the time, and we now have a pretty good private “language”. I sometimes ‘play dumb’ with Smudge, one of my kittens, to see what she’ll do.
